The welcome we received was brilliant, a very friendly family who were happy to help with any questions that we had. Very peaceful and idylic location and ideal for all. Located very close to a local train line for excursions out. Would recommend anyone to go to Upper Dolau

A tranquil setting, comfortably furnished, plenty of space, an extremely helpful and friendly owner and it is within easy reach (by car) of some of Britains best scenery.

For a relaxing getaway, this is the place to beat. Tranquil to the extreme, this cottage and its private garden are so lovely that we didn't feel the need to leave it for the entire weekend. The children loved the ability to run around unhampered, as our garden was well fenced in and so we felt confident to let them run freely. The cottage was great - a well stocked kitchen and nicely furnished rooms which made us feel at home straight away. The owners were very friendly, and allowed us to visit the lambs and the horse. The owners dogs (Westies) were also very friendly, and came calling on us at every mealtime, much to all our delight! We all had a fantastic time and are already talking over the possibility of returning when we get a chance.

We had a great time at Upper Dolau Farmhouse. The reception and helpfulness of the owner was great. The surroundings were beautiful. Even the weather was great. We would be happy to return.

The famliy that live and work on the farm are very friendly and really made the break special. The weekend we had there was very relaxing and enjoyable.
